Dream pop from this Philadelphia ‘sedative wave’ band, using the idea behind the Michael Jackson classic and turning it into their very own fresh tune. From their 2015 album Louisa, ‘My Billie Jean’ is an ambient dream to listen to, with a complete air of chill and elegance to it, whilst stumbling across some indie elements on the chorus. Bridges the gap nicely between indie-pop and chill-wave – perfect for those of you who often have a bit of electronic in their music diets as well as indie/alternative. We shared ‘License to Drive’ by Work Drugs a while back, so if you enjoyed that, you’ll certainly love this one! Give ‘My Billie Jean’ a listen, and if you like it, go ahead and add ‘Work Drugs’ to your 2016 to-watch list.
