British five-piece who, since forming 3 years ago, have released a variety of fabulous indie-pop singles and EPs. They debuted in 2014 with ‘You Pulled a Gun on Me’, a chilled funk tune that blends indie vocals with some subtle offbeat skank; a curious mix which drew a lot of attention to the amateur band. ‘You Pulled a Gun on Me’ was followed up with a tonne more songs last year, including the gentle, acoustic ‘Stormy’, which has a kind of Beatles aura to it, and the eclectic, synth-y ‘Charlemagne’, with an awesome contagious edge, leading it to be their most popular song to date. And they didn’t waste time with the new tunes this year, releasing ‘At Most A Kiss’ on the 5th January – a predominantly indie-rock song, carrying an almost ominous feeling and an über cool bassline. If you’re enjoying the unique rock of Spring King or missing that of the Arctic Monkeys, these lot will be some pretty good listening for you.
